Sarah Jessica Parker admits dating Nicolas Cage
While appearing on Bravo’s 'Watch What Happens Live', Sarah Jessica Parker opened up about her past with Nicolas Cage, revealing for the first time that they did, in fact, date.
The two had sparked dating rumors back in 1991 during the filming of 'Honeymoon in Vegas,' but until now, neither had confirmed the brief romance.

When host Andy Cohen asked directly, “Did you date Nick Cage?” the 60-year-old actress responded, “Um, yes. I did. Yes, I did.”
Cohen, 57, who is close friends with Parker, reacted with wide-eyed surprise, saying, “Oh, wow. Oh, we’ve got some talking to do.”
Nicolas Cage reflects on why Sarah Jessica Parker may have ghosted him
Nicolas Cage has also confirmed the brief romance and shared his version of why it may have ended as suddenly as it began.
The Oscar-winning actor told E! News that meeting Sarah Jessica Parker’s mother might have changed things. “I cared about Sarah, but I don’t think I passed the ‘mom test,’” Cage said.
He added, “I recall sitting down with her and her mother for dinner at the Russian Tea Room, and I don’t know if it was my blue Vanson Leather motorcycle jacket (which I still have) or my sinusitis, but I didn’t hear from her again.”
Sarah Jessica Parker says she confessed love to Matthew Broderick first
During the same interview, Sarah Jessica Parker reflected on the early days of her relationship with now-husband Matthew Broderick, whom she began dating in 1992, the same year 'Honeymoon in Vegas' was released.
“I remember I had to leave to go on location to shoot a movie, and we were on East 10th Street,” Parker shared. “I was getting in a car to go away for a while. I remember thinking, I think I love him. Should I say it? Because neither one of us had said it yet.” She added, “I did say it first.”
Parker and Broderick married in 1997 and have three children: son James, 22, and twin daughters Tabitha and Marion, 16.
Nicolas Cage, meanwhile, married Riko Shibata in 2021. He is a father to daughter August, 2, with Shibata, and sons Weston, 34, and Kal-El, 19, from previous relationships with Christina Fulton and Alice Kim.
