Nicole Kidman reveals why her daughters are 'not interested' in watching 'Babygirl'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Nicole Kidman has shared that her daughters are not eager to watch her latest film.
The actress, who stars in the sensual 'Babygirl', revealed that her teenage children with Keith Urban find the movie inappropriate for their age.

Despite their reluctance to watch, Kidman continues to appreciate the support she has received for the film from fans and critics alike.

Kidman, who attended TIME's 2025 Women of the Year Gala in Los Angeles on February 25, shared that her daughters, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, 16, and Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, 14, have no interest in seeing 'Babygirl'.
"They don't want to see it," Kidman told E! News at the event. "They're like, 'No, we're not interested.'"

The Oscar winner plays a businesswoman who has an affair with a younger intern in the movie, which she admitted is "a little too spicy" and "inappropriate right now" for her daughters.

While her daughters may not be watching, Nicole Kidman is thankful for the reception 'Babygirl' has received, including from those who found the film challenging.
"I’m so grateful for the people that have loved and supported Babygirl," Kidman said.
She added, "And then the ones that found it uncomfortable, also grateful that they saw it and continued talking about why [they] found it uncomfortable."

Kidman also shares children Bella Kidman Cruise, 32, and Connor Cruise, 30, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Though they may not be watching 'Babygirl', Sunday and Faith have been present at major events alongside their mother.
Sunday is also making her own strides in the entertainment world with a runway debut at the Miu Miu Womenswear Spring-Summer 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week in October.

As for advice for those entering the entertainment industry, Kidman shared her perspective.
"Find out who you are. Protect your spirit," she told E! News.
"Protect your talent. Make sure you keep reading, make sure you keep participating in life and learn how to take care of yourself emotionally, particularly so that you can learn to be your own guide," she added.
