Travis Kelce faces playful barbs from Natasha Leggero and Ron Funches on 'Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?'
Comedians Ron Funches and Natasha Leggero revealed to US Weekly that Travis Kelce was the target of a few well-placed jokes and jabs, particularly regarding his highly publicized relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
"There are certainly some Taylor Swift fans (on the show)," Funches shared, admitting that the jokes and subtle references to Kelce's relationship were meant to see if they could get him to "fully commit or not." Despite the ribbing, Kelce took it all in stride. "He just kind of took them and gave us some back. He was really good," the 'Undateable' star added.
Funches also shared a standout moment during filming when Kelce politely shut down flirtatious advances from some contestants, an act Funches found endearing. "One of my favorite things I actually saw... occasionally, some people tried to hit on him," Funches explained. "Him shutting that down was really sweet and really nice to see. You can tell he’s in it with her (Swift)."
Though rumors circulated that Swift had visited the set, Funches was unable to confirm, but he acknowledged whispers about her possible presence. "I did not see her, but I did hear whispers," he remarked.
Natasha Leggero also praised Kelce’s ability to hold his own on set, but noted that fellow comedian Nikki Glaser had a harder time concealing her "Swiftie" admiration. "I think she was incredibly nervous just to be in the presence of him," Leggero joked.
