WASHINGTON, D.C.: As millions across the US and Europe took to the streets to protest Donald Trump's policies under the banner of ‘No Kings’ rallies, an investigative report by Fox News revealed that several organizations have channeled billions into these demonstrations.

No Kings protests are peaceful demonstrations against Trump’s policies, especially regarding immigration enforcement and concerns about executive power.

Report claims protests are ‘100 per cent astroturf’

Fox News investigative reporter, Asra Nomani, revealed that around $ 3 million was spent by hundreds of organization on demonstrations held under ‘No Kings’ protests.

Appearing on 'The Big Weekend Show' Nomani discussed her report and said the protests were powered by a “$3 billion budget” funnelled by scores of organizations.

“I did the numbers, and there are about 500 organizations that were behind the ‘No Kings’ protests,” Nomani said. “They want to call it grassroots — it’s 100 per cent astroturf.”

She appeared on the broadcast only a few hours after her report on the protests’ budget was published on a digital platform.

‘No Kings’ protests funded by democratic political advocacy orgs?

Revealing the name of the key financial contributor, Nomani wrote, “According to a copy of the permit for the 'flagship' march in St Paul, Minnesotta, Indivisible, a national well-heeled Democratic political advocacy organization funded by billionaire George Soros, is the lead coordinator for the protest.”

The digital wing of the media outlet also claimed to have found the links of radical socialist and communist organizations funded by Neville Roy Singham, an American tech tycoon and avowed communist living in China, to the funding of ‘No Kings’ rallies in Europe.

You have two tycoons who are trying to upend the United States as we know it, trying to stop the Trump administration at every turn and it’s so important to follow the money and the ideology behind these,” Nomani said as she appeared to be calling out Soros and Singham.

She continued warning Americans against the prevailing situation and suggested that Americans need to take this “really seriously.” She added, “this is an industry that is trying to basically challenge the Trump administration at every turn for very partisan reasons.”

‘No Kings’ rallies garners huge support

Demonstrations, organized under the banner ‘No Kings’ on Saturday, March 28, were the third version of the rallies to take place to register resentment against Trump’s policies since he assumed the Oval Office for a second tenure in January 2025.

Beyond the political landscape, the ‘No Kings’ rallies and protests received huge support from Hollywood stars. While addressing the protest gathering in New York City, Robert De Niro demanded that Trump be removed from the position of Commander-in-Chief.
