NLE Choppa faces backlash for rejecting future collaborations with Blueface over alleged women abuse

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rapper NLE Choppa faced a lot of backlash recently when he publicly criticized Blueface and declared that he would never work with him in the future.

The tension between NLE Choppa and Blueface isn't new. NLE Choppa has previously challenged Blueface to a celebrity boxing match. This feud escalated after Blueface mentioned NLE Choppa's baby mama, Marissa Da'Nae, in the song 'Barbie' remix, which featured his fiancee Jaidyn Alexis.

Things got even more heated when reports surfaced that Da'Nae turned down Blueface's advances at a party, citing her friendship with Blueface's ex-partner, Chrisean Rock.

NLE Choppa, who has a child with Da'Nae, was not pleased with this implication. He took to Twitter on January 4 to directly challenge Blueface.

NLE Choppa slams Blueface and says he will never collaborate with him

According to Vibe, NLE Choppa recently stated that he has no intention of collaborating with Blueface. This decision stems from accusations that Blueface allegedly physically assaulted Chrisean Rock, the mother of his child.

According to XXL Magazine, Rock alleges that Blueface assaulted her during a meeting to drop off their child, claiming he punched her multiple times.

In an interview with 'The Shade Room' on Sunday, March 3, the 'Ain't Gonna Answer' rapper condemned violence against women, stating, "One thing that I’ve grown to, to understand is that treat women in the best way you can treat ’em. Treat women good. I can say, God watching me right now. I’ve never physically closed-fist assaulted a lady. I've never fought a woman, never punched a woman, never smacked a woman. Never did any of those things, so, when it comes to, would I do music with Blueface? Me, personally, I just wouldn’t do it because that’s the part I don’t respect."

He further emphasized, "I don’t really respect people that just put their hands on women physically to assault them.”

Blueface recently faced legal issues after violating probation related to a previous incident in 2021.

Despite their past collaboration on the song 'Shotta Flow', NLE Choppa has made it clear that he will not work with Blueface due to his stance against violence toward women.

NLE Choppa faced significant backlash from internet users due to his comments about Blueface. This backlash stemmed from a controversial incident in 2020 when NLE Choppa allegedly fired shots at the home of his baby mama, Mariah's mother, while his daughter Clover was inside, as reported by Complex.
