Kanye West slammed after Ozzy Osbourne accuses rapper of unauthorized use of 'War Pigs' sample
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORIA: Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has publicly criticized Kanye West for using a sample of Black Sabbath's iconic song 'War Pigs' without permission.
The 1983 live performance snippet was incorporated into West's latest single, 'Talking / Once Again,' featuring rapper Ty Dolla $ign and West's daughter, North.

Ozzy Osbourne condemns Kanye West for unauthorized use of 'war pigs' sample
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Osbourne accused West of disregarding his refusal to grant permission for the sample's use, per PEOPLE.
Osbourne wrote in all caps in both the caption and a screenshot of the text that read: “@KAYNEWEST ASKED PERMISSION TO SAMPLE A [SECTION] OF A 1983 LIVE PERFORMANCE OF ‘WAR PIG’ FROM THE US FESTIVAL WITHOUT VOCALS.”

The Black Sabbath frontman asserted that he declined West's request due to the rapper's alleged antisemitism, claiming that West's actions have caused distress to many individuals.
“REFUSED PERMISSION BECAUSE HE IS AN ANTISEMITE AND HAS CAUSED UNTOLD HEARTACHE TO MANY,” continued the Black Sabbath singer. “HE WENT AHEAD AND USED THE SAMPLE ANYWAY AT HIS ALBUM LISTENING PARTY LAST NIGHT.”
Osbourne concluded, “I WANT NO ASSOCIATION WITH THIS MAN!”
Osbourne expressed his disassociation with West, emphasizing his objection to being associated with the rapper and his music. The rock icon's remarks come in the wake of West's past controversies, including instances of bullying and antisemitic comments.
During Thursday night's listening party at Chicago's United Center, the 'Iron Man' artist referred to the single's release. 'Talking / Once Again,' a collaboration with rapper Ty Dolla $ign, also features the Ye rapper's elder daughter, North, 10, and has been speculated as a track from Vultures. Despite being scheduled to be released on Friday, the LP has not yet been released.

In contrast, users rallied behind Osbourne, applauding his stance against West's alleged infringement writing, "Ozzy, I’m with you 100%!"
Many expressed solidarity with Osbourne, praising him for standing up to the rapper and defending the integrity of his music writing, "Ozzy is AMAZING THE BEST IAM HAPPY OZZY IS STANDING UP AGAINST HIM."
