WINDSOR, ENGLAND: Queen Camilla held a Christmas tea party at Windsor Castle, welcoming two very special guests - a blind schoolgirl, and her "Coronation Teddy Bear."

On Tuesday, December 26, the 76-year-old wife of King Charles III posted glimpses on Instagram from a tea party she had organized at the Royal residence, Windsor Castle, the previous week.

The event was attended by a 7-year-old visually impaired girl named Olivia Taylor, who was accompanied by her cherished coronation teddy bear, aptly named Corrie.

Who is Olivia Taylor?

"Last week, The Queen was delighted to be joined by 7-year-old Olivia and family for a special Christmas tea at Windsor Castle," stated a post from the official Royal Family account on Instagram.

"Olivia’s Coronation teddy bear Corrie, who travels with her everywhere, was a guest of honour," the caption added.

The post revealed that Olivia was diagnosed with a significant brain tumor when she was less than two years old, noting, "At 17-months-old, Olivia was diagnosed with a large brain tumour, causing permanent blindness."

"Since her diagnosis, Olivia has been receiving regular treatment, including chemotherapy. However, none of this has curbed her infectious enthusiasm or love of singing," added the royal family, continuing, "Along with the Bexley Music Primary Choir, Olivia performed a carol as part of His Majesty’s Christmas Broadcast."

"Happy Christmas Olivia — and thank you for all the joy you bring!"  ended the post, which also included a collection of pictures from the royal tea party.

One photo depicted Olivia presenting her bear to Camilla.

In another, the young girl was captured holding a plush Corgi toy, engaged in a cheerful conversation with the Queen.

Olivia also had the chance to showcase her singing prowess by performing a carol in collaboration with the Bexley Music Primary Choir, which was featured in King Charles' Christmas broadcast.

As per BBC, the little girl also exclaimed "Hello, your Majesty!" upon meeting Queen Camilla.

In a video snippet shared on X by Sky News, Olivia delivered a charming performance of 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer', which was met with grins and hearty clapping from Camilla.

The video also showcased a moment where Camilla inquired about Olivia's preferred foods. Responding with a chuckle, the girl said, "Hmm... I think one of them is cookies."

Olivia presented Camilla with a ring she had crafted herself. "Oh, what a beautiful ring," the Queen expressed. "Isn't that lovely! Should I put it on?"

The Queen later assisted Olivia in having her inaugural sip of tea. She filled a cup and passed it to the young girl, who continued to drink without interruption.

"That is proper tea. Still going," Camilla humorously remarked as Olivia kept sipping.

The young girl's cherished teddy bear, ‘Corrie’, was also accorded its own special place at the table.

The family, hailing from south-east London, had a photo opportunity with the Queen, following which Olivia and her four-year-old sister, Imogen, curtsied.

The Queen reportedly said to Olivia's family, "She's been such a brave little girl, I'm so glad to have met her."

As footage of Queen Camilla’s tea party with the two extraordinary visitors emerges online, not everyone was happy about it, with some fondly recalling Diana's warmth and grace.

A Facebook user commented, "Not exactly warm and cuddly is she. Can you imagine Princess Diana with her grandchildren?"

"Not a Queen," said another, while one more added, "Never a queen."

One user on X praised Olivia, "Bless her, such courage." "That's so sweet. A memory for a lifetime," said another.

An unhappy user, however, wrote, "Queen Camilla still doesn't sound right," referring to her title. "The irony is that the child was lucky it didn’t have to look at her face," one strong negative comment said.

One seemingly sarcastic user added, "Easy to see right through this. Queen of Hearts indeed..."

"Olivia looked amazing with her little crown. What a lovely heartwarming treat for her to have tea with #QueenCamilla," said a happy user.

On Instagram, one person wrote, "This is so special The Queen is so generous with her time! love to see this." "It's beautiful that Queen Camilla is showing this kind hearted side," stated another.

However, another user slammed the Queen, claiming, "A world that crowns Camilla has no justice !!"

One person added, "Diana forever!!! Greetings from Argentina !!!" "Ah true queen Daiane," noted a comment.
