OJ Simpson reportedly made his children sign NDAs in final days, Internet says 'that's messed up'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: OJ Simpson didn’t trust his close ones and had them sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), including his children and visitors, as he lay on his deathbed
As per TMZ, the former running back didn’t want others to disclose his death, other than the estate.
Visitors and children had to sign NDAs
According to sources, Simpson spent his last days with few friends and family members. Around 30 and 50 visitors came to meet him, including his four children Sydney, Justin, Jason, and Arnelle.
The NFL icon shared Sydney and Justin with Nicole Brown Simpson, while Jason and Arnelle were his kids from his first marriage with Marguerite Whitley.
The outlet also claimed that every visitor had to sign NDAs and wasn’t allowed to carry phones while entering his room.
The announcement of his death was made on April 10, through Simpson’s social media account, per The Mirror.
“On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren,” the tweet read.
“During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace, The Simpson Family, the tweet concluded.
Earlier, Simpson had quashed rumors claiming that he was in hospice. In his post on X, he said in a video, "Hospice? Hospice? You talking about hospice? No, I'm not in any hospice. I don't know who put that out there. I guess it's like Donald [Trump] says, 'You can't trust the media'.”
He added, "In any event, I'm hosting a tonne of friends of the Super Bowl here in Las Vegas. All is Well, you know. So take care, have a good Super Bowl weekend."
