He posted on Friday morning, February 9, “Hospice! You talking about hospice?”

OJ Simpson shuts down viral rumors about health

Simpson, 76, questioned in his humorous style in a video taken inside his car. “No, I’m not even in the hospital. I don’t know who put that out there,” he said.

The former NFL star shared that he's going to take “a ton of friends” for a Super Bowl LVIII viewing party on Sunday, February 11.

“All is well, you know?” he said with a smile. “Take care. Have a good Super Bowl weekend!” he added.

Almost 8 months ago, Simpson revealed that he had cancer and COVID-19 at the same time. Simpson added that he underwent chemotherapy treatments and smoking marijuana “really helped” him through the entire process, reports PageSix.

The footballer is widely known for being infamously charged with murdering ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman. Though he was evicted, many still consider him tainted.

OJ Simpson on his trial and conviction

In his interview with AP, in 2019, he said on the death, “We don’t need to go back and relive the worst day of our lives.” Adding, “The subject of the moment is the subject I will never revisit again. My family and I have moved on to what we call the ‘no negative zone.’ We focus on the positives.”

He was released in October 2017 after serving nine years for a robbery-kidnapping conviction in Las Vegas. On his conviction, Simpson felt trying to steal back his own memorabilia was unfair but added, “I believe in the legal system and I honored it. I served my time.”

“The town has been good to me,” Simpson said. “Everybody I meet seems to be apologizing for what happened to me here.”

Simpson earlier said, “I’ve been to Florida two or three times to see the kids and my old buddies in Miami. I even managed to play a game of golf with them,” he said. “But I live in a town I’ve learned to love. Life is fine.”
