LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In the aftermath of his arrest on charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking earlier this week, an old clip of Sean "Diddy" Combs joking about locking women up at parties has resurfaced.

The clip is from the music mogul's 2002 interview on 'Late Night with Conan O’Brien', during which he discussed the "ingredients" for his memorable parties.

During the interview, Conan O’Brien told Diddy, "You’re legendary for the parties that you throw. You throw a great party," before asking, "What’s the ingredient? What do you do to make an amazing, killer party?"

The ‘Coming Home’ hitmaker responded, "This is what you need to do. Women. Beautiful women, of course. Beautiful men for the ladies, of course," as per Us Weekly.

The rapper continued, "You need some water. I don’t know if guys have noticed this but a lot of ladies drink water at parties, so if you don’t have what they need, they’re going to leave." He added, "Gotta keep them there. Need locks on the doors."

O’Brien, taken aback by the suggestion, replied, "This is sounding kinda dangerous now." Diddy noted that it is "a little kinky" before continuing to elaborate on his list.

The disgraced music producer added, "You need a lot of heat. Don’t have no air conditioning. Heat affects the alcohol but everybody also gets a little more comfortable and loose … builds up a nice little sweat."

Still not pleased, O’Brien said that "just sounds disgusting."

Not heeding the apparent criticism, Diddy shrugged off before concluding, "You need good music and you need me, of course."

The video resurfaced on social media just days after the rapper's Monday, September 16 arrest. On the next day, a 14-page indictment alleged that Diddy "abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him."

His bail request and his appeal to overturn the decision were declined. He is currently under suicide watch at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) as he awaits trial.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs gets slammed as old Conan O'Brien interview resurfaces

As the interview resurfaced, netizens flocked to social media platforms to point out how "creepy" Sean "Diddy" Combs' remarks were.

One of the users wrote under the YouTube video, "Whoa, this interview should be played in court," and another commented, "The timing is impeccable."

A person on X (formerly Twitter) remarked, "What’s wild is he didn’t even try to hide it. There is video after video year after year of him outlying his actions and people all laugh and say man we love that guy. While some in America were like WTF why isn’t this guy being investigated, canceled, etc."

"'Lock the doors' is all you need to know, he doesn’t even think he’s doing anything wrong calling it kinky," opined an individual. "He told everyone and everyone just…let him," observed someone else.

One more wrote, "He’s very proud of all of this, very brazen with all of it. He’s flown under the radar for so many years while bragging in public! Truly disgusting!"

"That’s flipping 22 years ago. They kept it quiet that long ? Evil," expressed another person. A netizen shared, "In retrospect, this is very creepy We’ve know about diddy in the industry for years now. It’s strange that it’s taken this long for the whole thing to get out."
