WATCH HILL, RHODE ISLAND: Model Olivia Culpo and San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey exchanged vows at a picturesque beachside chapel in her home state Rhode Island.

Culpo told Vogue that McCaffrey always desired to get married in a church so the couple got married at a chapel in Watch Hill, a seaside community in the town of Westerly.

"That was our number one priority," the model said.

The 32-year-old former Miss Universe and the 28-year-old San Francisco 49ers star got married on Saturday, June 29, at a church in her native Rhode Island.

Before her wedding, Culpo stated in an interview with the magazine that marriage is a "covenant." "It’s the beginning of the rest of your life," she said, before adding, "And it’s the union and bond of two people forever."

Culpo chose a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown because, in her words, it "felt as serious as that commitment" when it was time to choose a wedding gown, People reported.

Culpo looked stunning in a bridal gown by Dolce & Gabbana. According to the fashion magazine, it was a "long-sleeve crepe crew neck ball gown with a voluminous skirt and button-lined back."

The 16-foot lace veil on the bridal gown was another standout. Culpo wore minimal makeup, telling Vogue that she skipped the eyebrow gel and mascara in favor of a more natural appearance.

"I didn’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form," Culpo told Vogue of her bridal look.

She added, "I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complimenting me, not overpowering me. There’s so much beauty and simplicity."

"When I think about Christian and what he loves and the moments that he thinks that I’m most beautiful, it’s absolutely in something like this: timeless, covered and elegant," Culpo added.

The highly awaited wedding took place in Rhode Island on Saturday night. A glittering guest list of models attended, and the groom's fellow San Francisco 49ers were all dressed in Dulce & Gabbana, per the event's dress code.

Before getting married at Watch Hill Chapel across the street, the couple was staying at the opulent Ocean House hotel in Westerly, close to Taylor Swift's expansive estate on the state's pleasant southwest coast, the Daily Mail reported.

Almost a hundred people in black ties were spotted on the daffodil-yellow resort's staircase. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooks Nader was beaming with her new partner, Prince Constantine Alexios of Denmark and Greece.

The 25-year-old prince was dressed in loose-fitting pants and a shirt, while Nader, 27, was dressed in a black minidress under a black leather jacket.

The happy couple initially announced their engagement on Instagram in April 2023, sharing a string of monochromatic images along with their joyous news.

In November 2022, Culpo told Entertainment Tonight that she understood McCaffrey was special, thus she was willing to violate her rule about never dating athletes.
