LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actress Olivia Munn made an unexpected comeback to 'The Daily Show' on Wednesday, 9 April, stepping back into her correspondent role to take aim at President Donald Trump’s dramatic shift on global tariffs.

The 44-year-old actress joined Desi Lydic in a mock analysis of Trump’s approach to trade policies, poking fun at the confusion and chaos surrounding the tariff situation.

During the segment, Desi Lydic asked Olivia Munn to explain Donald Trump's rationale behind the tariffs, noting that "everyone's scared" amid "so much uncertainty," while suggesting that this is not how nations' economies are run.

Munn assured her to “be cool” before launching into a sarcastic summary of Trump’s strategy.

“Trump knows exactly what he’s doing. He put tariffs that destroyed the global economy, so then he took them off, and now it’s only mostly destroyed," she started.

"Now, to avoid tariffs coming back, other countries will cut deals with us for better trade terms and our deficit drops to zero, problem solved," she added per The Wrap.

Lydic followed up, asking if that was "when we drop all the tariffs?" Munn replied, “No b***h."

Munn added, “Then we hit them even harder: 400 percent tariffs. We bomb their factories. We catch those penguins on that island, and we eat them. Then the other countries will really come begging.”

In a continued sarcastic explanation, Munn imagined a scenario where the US gains the upper hand through extreme trade moves.

“We can get whatever we want, baby!” she said. “Ikea furniture? Comes assembled. Honda Accords, trunks full of Nike sneakers. We’ll get to pee on their currency while they watch. Then we’ve won!”

Lydic reacted with, “Gross. But fine. Then the trade war ends?”

“Yes, then it makes sense for the trade war to end,” Munn responded.

“But sike, b***h, 4 billion percent tariffs. You’re in our house now. The new iPhone? $3. Nike sneakers comes with a Honda Accord. Then we pee on their currency again," Munn said.

"They’re not even watching. It’s just the only way we can pee anymore," she joked.

Desi Lydic then asked, “How does any of this make up the trade deficit?”

“Desi, baby girl, it’s not the trade deficit,” Munn replied. “This is all to make up for Donald Trump’s enormous deficit of attention and love. He said as much last night,” she said.

“I’m telling you, these countries are calling us up, kissing my a**. They are. They are dying to make a deal,” Trump said in the video.

“See?” Munn added. “He’s just a boy standing in front of the world asking to get his a** kissed. And once the world fills the aching hole in his heart, the tariffs will end.”

Lydic responded, “But that will never happen. There’s not enough attention in the world to make him feel like a human again.”

“Exactly b***h,” Munn concluded. She signed off by saying, "I'll see you in 2039."
