WASHINGTON, D.C.: Robert F Kennedy Jr shared with NewsNation host Chris Cuomo that he will probably be seen taking the stage at a substitute platform to CNN’s first 2024 presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump in June.

He reportedly earlier alleged that he was banned from debating with the current as well as the former presidents.

RFK Jr says Elon Musk and NewsNation will give him a platform

Cuomo told Kennedy Jr on Wednesday, May 29, as reported by mediaite.com, “If you can’t get on that stage, we’re happy at NewsNation to offer you a platform.”

The television journalist anchor then asked the Independent presidential candidate, “What do you think about creating an alternative platform if you get boxed out of the game?”

To which, Kennedy Jr said, “We are talking right now with NewsNation, with your network, and Elon Musk has offered us a platform on X, and Elon is now talking also with NewsNation to do a joint platform and a joint debate, kind of an alternative debate.”

“So you know, that’s something we’re looking at. I obviously would like to be on the debate– I would like to be on the main debate stage,” he added.

But Cuomo interrupted saying, “You wanna be on the main debate stage, I totally get it. But they’re not gonna let you on.”

RFK Jr accuses CNN excluding him from  presidential debate

This came after Kennedy Jr in his complaint to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) wrote, “CNN colluded with the Biden Committee and the Trump Committee to schedule and did schedule a debate with criteria that were designed to result in the selection of certain pre-chosen participants, namely Biden and Trump, in a clear breach of federal campaign finance law.”

The 70-year-old politician reportedly claimed, “The available evidence leads to the clear conclusion that CNN is making prohibited corporate contributions to both campaigns.”

Besides, in an X post, he said, “X is where the debate should be. The new public square with 100x the audience of CNN. @realDonaldTrump, I know you’ve got the guts to do it. Do you want to call @POTUS or should I?”

Musk even replied to it, saying, “Sure."

Internet users say they will ‘block’ alternate presidential debate

Meanwhile, people made fun of Kennedy Jr on X with one critic writing, “On earth, or in a spaceship?”

Another critic said, “Excellent!  Something new to block and boycott.”

The third one tweeted, “There will only be 2 people at this debate: 1. You 2. Elon Musk Y’all have fun!”

“Please no remember how big of a failure the Desantis announcement was?” the fourth one stated.

The fifth one added, “You are a nobody with worms in your brain.”
