A look at the cast of ‘Once Upon a Time’ as Disney gears up for its live-action ‘Snow White’
Disney is gearing up for the release of live-action movie 'Snow White' in 2025. While the movie is eagerly anticipated by many Disney fans, it has also courted its fair share of controversies. There is even speculation that the live-action drama may completely do away with the love story of Snow White and Prince Charming. While we will have to wait till 2025 to get the answer, we might as well take a look at the cast of 'Once Upon a Time' and what they are doing now.
Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan)
Jennifer Morrison played the character of Emma Swan, who after relocating to Storybrooke in Maine with her son Henry, came to know that the people in the area are fairytale characters trapped in the real world. Following the completion of 'OUAT', Morrison appeared on 'This Is Us' from 2019 to 2022 and 'Will Trent' in 2023. She has also directed episodes of 'Joe Pickett', 'Surface' and 'Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies'. She married actor Gerardo Celasco in April 2022.
Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White)
Ginnifer Goodwin famously portrayed the beloved fairytale character Snow White and teacher Mary Margaret Blanchard in 'OUAT'. She went on to appear on 2019's 'Why Women Kill' and had a cameo on Dolly Parton’s 'Heartstrings'. She made her debut as a producer in 2019’s 'I Am Somebody’s Child: The Regina Louise Story'. In 2014, she married her onscreen partner Josh Dallas, and the couple share two sons - Oliver and Hugo.
Josh Dallas (Prince Charming)
Josh Dallas played David Nolan and subsequently Prince Charming on the show. He has been playing Ben Stone on 'Manifest' since 2018 and made his directorial debut in 2022. He has been married to his costar Ginnifer Goodwin since 2014.
Lana Parrilla (Evil Queen)
Lana Parrilla played the adoptive mother of Henry, Regina Mills, and the Evil Queen in the fantasy show. Following the completion of the show, she portrayed Rita Castillo on 'Why Women Kill' and starred in 'Scrap' in 2022. She has also ventured into production through Split at the Root and started her clothing company, Keep It Regal.
Colin O’Donoghue (Captain Hook)
Colin O'Donoghue starred as Killian Jones and Hook on the series. Following the conclusion of 'OUAT', he appeared in 'What Still Remains' and lent his voice to 'Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans' and 'Luck'. He has been married to Helen O'Donoghue since 2009, and the couple have a son and a daughter.
Robert Carlyle (Rumpelstiltskin)
Robert Carlyle played the pawnshop owner Mr. Gold and Rumpelstiltskin on 'OUAT'. He then went on to star in 'The War of the Worlds' and portrayed Prime Minister Robert Sutherland on 'Cobra'.
Jared Gilmore (Prince Henry)
After having a successful TV career, Jared Gilmore - who played Emma's son Henry and subsequently Prince Henry - went on to become a successful streamer on Twitch. He became a streamer in March 2019 and took the online name 'Nightingale_Styx'. Recently, he announced his engagement to his girlfriend Merudy Scarlet.
Emilie de Ravin (Belle Gold)
Emilie de Ravin played Mr. Gold's wife Belle Gold in the show. She went on to star in 'A Lover Scored' along with having a cameo on 'True Colours' in 2022. She is married to film director Eric Bilitch and share three children.
Sean Maguire (Robin Hood)
Sean Maguire famously portrayed Robin Hood in 'OUAT'. He went on to play The Dark King/Sir Effingham on 'The Magicians' in 2020. He also starred in 2022's 'V for Vengeance' and 'A Snowy Day in Oakland' in 2023. He has been married to Tanya Flynn since 2012.
Meghan Ory (Red Riding Hood)
Meghan Ory played Ruby Lucas and Red Riding Hood from 2011 to 2016. She went on to play Abby O’Brien on Hallmark’s 'Chesapeake Shores' from 2016 to 2022. She is married to her former 'Merlin's Apprentice' costar John Reardon.
