LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Oprah Winfrey’s old clip of her interviewing the Olsen twins — Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen — has resurfaced once again that shows her asking inappropriate questions to them, including “What size are you?”

The sisters were only 17 when the interview happened in 2004. Also, Mary-Kate was rumored to be battling an eating disorder at the time of the taping, as reported by the Daily Mail.

The former actress was even admitted to a rehab facility for weeks to receive treatment for a health problem.

But Oprah Winfrey, who was 50 years old then, did not consider their struggles and told the twins on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show', “I know a new rumor [that has] recently surfaced has really upset you, right? You know, the one about eating.”

Ashley then replied, “Yeah, you know people are gonna write what they’re gonna write. We try not to read the good or the bad because it just comes with the territory. Either you’re too fat, too skinny and people are just gonna write what they–”

However, the TV producer cut her off before asking, “What size are you, by the way?”

The question reportedly made the duo feel uncomfortable before Ashley remarked, “Size?”

Her twin sister then said that they had always been “petite”.

But Winfrey, without any remorse, sarcastically said, “Oh, that’s so interesting. That is so interesting, I’m obsessed with size and you’re like, ‘I really don’t know'.”

Mary-Kate, however, added, “If we were obsessed with our size it’d be, I don’t know, a different story.”

Many people over the years have called out Winfrey for her inappropriate questions.

A YouTube user said, “Hey, Oprah they didn't want to tell you.  Why couldn't you show them respect instead of making fun of them?  Why would you grill a couple of teenagers who were at the time suspected of having eating disorders?  You were beyond tone deaf, Oprah.”

Another user said, “Oprah was so hyped on getting the scoop on the twins, she should be ashamed and offer an apology. A lot of hosts should be apologizing to celebrities from back in the day honestly.”

“Ashley sounded so mad I don't blame her,” one shared.

A person commented, “Ashley's eyes when she gets asked her size...I'm recovered anorexic.(mostly) and this interview broke my heart. To me, MK  seemed to freeze and Ashley was horrified. She was protecting her sister by jumping in to answer but also you can see how she was also hurting over the whole issue. EDs are merciless destroyers of life. This line of questioning was out of line, insensitive, dangerous and unnecessary. There was plenty else to discuss. To purposely trigger someone for ratings? Disgusting and manipulative. I don't think Oprah is any different now.”

Someone else wrote, “I felt so upset by this. Totally inappropriate MS O.”

“Oprah has done way worse,” a comment read.
