Orlando Bloom talks about personal changes in his life
During the interview, Orlando Bloom discussed handling personal changes in his life.
"There's been some personal changes in your life since you were here the last time. How are you doing?" asked co-host 'Today' Craig Melvin.
"I'm great, man. I'm so grateful," Bloom replied, adding about their five-year-old daughter Daisy, "We have the most beautiful daughter."
"You know when you leave everything on the field like I did in this movie? I feel grateful for all of it. And we're great. We're going to be great. Nothing but love," he concluded.
Bloom and Perry first broke up in 2017 but reunited the following year. On Valentine’s Day 2019, he proposed with what appeared to be a more than four-carat ring. In 2020, they welcomed Daisy, Perry’s first child and Bloom’s second, as he also shares 14-year-old Flynn with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom aim to maintain a 'positive and respectful relationship'
Representatives for the couple confirmed their split on July 3, after People reported it on June 26.
"Katy has every intention of maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with Orlando," a source told the publication. "He's the father of their daughter and that will always come first for her."
"They've been through a lot together, and while they've decided to go their separate ways, there's still a mutual respect between them,” the insider continued.

"They're still very much in touch and co-parenting Daisy together. For the sake of their daughter, they're committed to keeping things amicable," the source added.
Earlier reports suggested tension in the relationship due to Perry’s seventh studio album, '143', released in September 2024.
Orlando Bloom's emotional Instagram posts after Katy Perry split
Although Friday marked his first broadcast comments, Orlando Bloom had already hinted at his emotional state on Instagram.
On June 30, days after the breakup became public, he shared a series of inspirational quotes on his Instagram Stories.
Two days later, he reposted a carousel of writings from Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung.

One post explored the weight of loneliness, while another reminded followers that even a happy life must be balanced with sadness.

Following the separation, Bloom traveled to Venice for the star-studded wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, while Perry — who attended Sanchez’s Paris bachelorette and the all-female Blue Origin space flight — did not join.

In his new thriller 'The Cut', Bloom plays an ex-boxer whose defeat ends his championship career. As he trains for redemption, a synopsis reveals that an obsession takes hold and reality begins to unravel — and he may be spiraling into something far more terrifying.
