NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Jesse Watters is facing the heat from netizens after he said he wanted to see more "eye candy" from female appointees by President-elect Donald Trump, as per The Daily Beast.

He made the comment on the Monday, December 2 episode of 'The Five' as the panel discussed a video shared by Robert F Kennedy Jr in which he showed off his muscles ahead of his Department of Health and Human Services confirmation hearing.

According to the publication, in the video, captured at Gold's Gym in Venice, California, a shirtless RFK Jr is seen doing a pull-up and rollover while the song 'Eye of the Tiger' plays in the background. RFK Jr's X (formerly Twitter) post has since gone viral, garnering over five million views.

Addressing his female 'The Five' co-hosts, Dana Perino, Jessica Tarlov, and Jeanine Pirro, Jesse Watters stated, "I just think it’s unfair that you had to get to see this and we don’t get to see any of the female members of the Cabinet."

When asked what he would like to see, he replied, "I’d like to see maybe Linda McMahon doing yoga. Tulsi surfing? Charlie and I need to see some eye candy too."

Tarlov reacted to the comment by simply saying, "Oh boy. Yikes."

She then asked Perino if she enjoyed seeing RFK Jr shirtless to which the latter responded, "No."

Internet blasts Jesse Watters over creepy 'eye candy' comment

Jesse Watters' "eye candy" comment, which he likely meant as a joke, sparked outrage among the netizens.

One wrote, "Sounds like Watters has mistaken his political commentary gig for a casting call," and another remarked, "Republican MAGA men sure love watching half naked men working out for some reason,"

"Call me old-fashioned, I liked the days when I didn't need to see the incoming Secretary of Health and Human Services half-naked while Fox news anchors ogled them," stated a person.

An individual expressed, "It's impossible for him not to be a creep," possibly hinting at Watters' past controversies. "How much of a creepy sleazeball can you be? Watters: Yes," wrote another person.

"Just when you thought Jesse Watters could not possibly sink lower..." stated one more. A person quipped, "At this point he's just want to head the 'sensitivity Department' under Trump."

One sarcastically wrote, "Whole thing fills me with such optimism for the state of politics and broadcasting standards in the US for the next few years. All Statesmanship and cogent political reportage. I reckon you can get the average reading age down to grade 5, maybe even 4 before the next election."
