PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WISCONSIN: GOP nominee Donald Trump went on an unhinged rant while speaking at an indoor rally in Prairie du Chien on Saturday, September 28, reported Raw Story.

The 78-year-old former president went after his election rival, Democratic nominee and Vice President Kamala Harris, calling her a mentally disabled person, while complaining about illegal border crossings in the United States.

Donald Trump jibes at Kamala Harris' mental acuity

Trump claimed that incumbent Joe Biden, 81, who was the oldest person in US history to be running for the White House earlier this year, "became mentally impaired," but his jibe at Harris went lower still.

"Kamala was born that way," stated Trump, who has replaced Biden as the oldest presidential contender.

Waiting for the audience's applause. he continued, "And if you think about it, only a mentally disabled person could have allowed this to happen to our country. Anybody would know that."

Donald Trump's take on immigrants

Trump's offensive rhetoric for immigrants was on display at the event as he hinted at them being responsible for a fly being at the rally podium.

"Oh, there's a fly. Oh, I wonder where the fly came from," he said at one point, seemingly distracted from his speech. "See, two years ago, I wouldn't have had a fly up here. You’re changing rapidly. We can’t take it any longer."

Trump also took a shot at the migrants who were seeking asylum in the US by registering themselves on a smartphone app launched by the Biden administration called CBP One.

The dig was initially aimed at the administration before Trump went on to insult the immigrants, as he said, "They (federal administration) has a phone app so that people can come into our country. These are smart immigrants I guess, because most people don't have any idea what the hell a phone app is."

Internet trolls Donald Trump over his take

Netizens reacting to Trump's comments on the social media platform X considered them to be unacceptable and pathetic. The following tweets demonstrate their takes.

"This is just getting to be too much. An already pathetic being stoops to even lower lows. Sad that so many in this country are ok with this, accept it, champion it and will vote for it," wrote a user.

"These comments are unacceptable. This is no leader, and this is no example to set. The fact that he's in the running is embarrassing," shared another.

"Truly despicable. Donald Trump is despicable beyond the most extreme stretches of anyone’s imagination. He’s becoming more loathsome by the hour," noted a third.

"He’s become so desperate that inciting hatred, spreading hatred, and encouraging hatred is the only strategy he believes will lead to victory, but the positive aspect is that there’s no one else like him remaining who isn’t already supporting him," commented a fourth.

"Cognitive decline is a disability. I hope Donald Trump can get some help," jibed a fifth user.

"MAGA is in the death spiral and it’s going to be exactly as ugly as you would expect," quipped yet another.
