LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has been under the spotlight following her debut as a model for the latest edition of Sports Illustrated magazine. Stepping onto the stage, she boldly addressed her detractors.

This isn't the first time Brittany has captured headlines. Previously, a TikTok clip featuring her went viral, sparking controversy as some interpreted her actions as dismissive toward a stadium employee. In response, Brittany posted a cryptic message, calling out the trolls and labeling them as 'obsessed'.

Patrick Mahomes, the star Chiefs quarterback, is also making headlines as he prepares for his fourth Super Bowl appearance. Brittany Mahomes debuts as SI Swimsuit model

Brittany took to Instagram, as reported by Page Six, to clap back at her critics who were scrutinizing her debut as an SI Swimsuit model.

In her Instagram story, she penned a powerful message: "I’m here to tell you. People will dislike you. People will love you. Don’t let any of that define you. KEEP SHINING and being YOU", accompanied by a sneak peek of her photos from the shoot.

As per People Magazine, Brittany recently showcased the colors of the Kansas City Chiefs in a glamorous, non-sporty manner. On Thursday, February 8, she made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut as a 2024 Rookie, set to be featured in the magazine’s 60th-anniversary issue which will release in May.

According to People Magazine, MJ Day, SI Swim’s editor-in-chief, emphasized that Brittany was chosen because she is the “epitome of a modern-day powerhouse". Day stated, “Brittany’s journey has surpassed all expectations, inspiring others with her tenacity and unyielding determination.”

People Magazine also reports that although the spread has yet to be officially released, many SI Swimsuit fans are eagerly anticipating seeing Brittany model an array of stunning swimsuits.

Furthermore, a behind-the-scenes video of the photo shoot, captured by photographer Derek Kettela in San Pedro Ambergris Caye, Belize, and shared on Instagram, showcases Brittany modeling various swimwear looks, from frilly two-pieces to teeny bikinis paired with a knitted cowboy hat.

In an interview with SI Swimsuit, Brittany expressed her gratitude and excitement, stating, “I never in my wildest dreams thought this would happen. I’m so thankful and honored and so excited to be here with this team. I want women to feel empowered to always be yourself, love yourself and feel confident in whatever you do, and I think SI Swimsuit does, too."
