'The Summer House' and 'Southern Charm' stars first met on Bravo's 'Winter House' and dated for three years.

Paige DeSorbo says she 'wasn't expecting' break up with Craig Conover

Paige DeSorbo confirmed her breakup from Craig Conover on her 'Giggly Squad' podcast on Monday, December 30.

She described the split as mutual but added, "It’s weird, it’s very weird. I wasn’t expecting this."

DeSorbo shared that she and Conover reached the decision together, although did not reveal when did the split exactly happen.

"Not to sound traditional and old fashioned, this is not a situation where I have, like, a 50-part series of ‘Who the f**k was I dating?’ Could not be more opposite of that," DeSorbo said.

Paige DeSorbo expressed gratitude and admiration for Craig Conover, saying, "I have so much love and respect for Craig. I think he is one of the best people I have ever met in my entire life," People reported.

She added, "I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him and he truly will get the best because he is the best."

"I think it was just the right decision for both of us moving forward in our lives and the direction in our lives that we didn’t force," she added.

DeSorbo expressed her feelings, stating that she loves him and believes he feels the same way. "I think we will remain friends."

She clarified that no one was at fault and that it wasn't a negative experience, adding, "we both were just being really mature." She also found this experience to be incredibly empowering, as it allowed her to express her feelings and future goals in the moment.

DeSorbo said age transforms, saying, "...I mean, I started dating Craig when I was 29 and I’m 32 now."

She feels women at 30 are very transformative, adding, "You change a lot and you grow a lot," suggesting Craig too has changed the same way.

Paige DeSorbo became emotional during the podcast, saying, "It’s a very sad thing. I know I said I would never cry on the internet but like, it’s okay if I cry on the pod. I feel like that’s okay."

She assured listeners that the timing of the breakup had nothing to do with the premieres of their Bravo shows.

"In terms of people saying rumors like, ‘Oh, Paige was told to wait until Southern Charm came out’ or like ‘Summer House came out’ — no one can tell me what to do," DeSorbo said.

"The network has power, but they don’t have that much power. So, that was not a real thing. Rumors of us breaking up months ago again, also, not a real thing," she added.
