WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO: In a surprising turn of events, golf influencer Paige Spiranac found herself embroiled in a brief online disagreement with actor Scott Baio, best known for his role as Chachi on the classic sitcom 'Happy Days'.

The dispute originated from a now-deleted social media post by Baio, responding to a video of a woman at a driving range wearing tight clothing. Baio claimed he was told the woman was Spiranac and that the original poster intended to 'drag' his golfer daughter Bailey.

A social media spat between golf influencer Paige Spiranac and actor Scott Baio recently unfolded over a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter). Baio, assuming the woman in the video was Spiranac, believed the original poster intended to criticize his golfer daughter Bailey. Spiranac, surprised by the unexpected feud, shared Baio's deleted tweet, expressing her disbelief at having a dispute with him.

She wrote, "Add Scott Baio to the list of people I never thought I would have beef with. What a world.”

Baio swiftly apologized, clarifying the situation, and prompting Spiranac to declare an end to the disagreement. He wrote, "My apologies. Someone posted a video saying it was you and attempted to drag my minor daughter (a junior golfer) and I defended myself. I apologize as I don’t know you or the other woman from the video. I have no problem admitting when I am wrong."

According to Spiranac, this was enough to settle the beef between the two. He posted: "Update the beef with Scott Baio has ended. I’m sure you were all on the edge of your seat.”

In addition, she offered to give Baio's daughter any tips she had regarding the golf course or college recruiting.

“I appreciate your apology. I understand how protective you must feel of your daughter,” Spiranac wrote. “I played junior golf at a high level, in college and pro for a little. If your daughter ever needs any golf advice let me know! I learned a lot throughout my golf career especially during the recruiting process for college. Always happy to help!”
