WASHINGTON, DC: Pam Bondi, who served as the attorney general, is facing a setback after being removed from her role by President Donald Trump. However, attention has now shifted to her finances and how significantly they have changed over time.

During her years as a public servant, she earned a relatively modest income. But her financial position has transformed dramatically in recent years. She is now reportedly a multimillionaire.

This shift appears to be driven by a mix of consulting work, real estate investments, and her close association with Trump and his network. Over time, these ventures have helped her build substantial wealth, marking a stark contrast to her earlier career in public service.

Pam Bondi’s net worth

Bondi served as the 87th US Attorney General during Trump’s second administration. She held the position for about 14 months, from February 5, 2025, until April 2026. According to estimates cited by The Mirror, her net worth is believed to be between $5 million and $18 million, depending on market conditions and the value of her stock holdings.

The report also referred to Forbes, which had earlier estimated her net worth at around $1.5 million in 2019, when she stepped down as Florida Attorney General. Her financial growth has been linked to her work with Ballard Partners and the America First Policy Institute.

Bondi enjoys an annual salary of $235,100. Her pay as Florida’s attorney general stood at about $130,000, making her later salary as US attorney general nearly doubled in comparison.

She has also received equity connected to Trump Media & Technology Group, including shares tied to Truth Social through consulting roles. Beyond that, Bondi has invested in real estate, particularly in Florida, where property prices increased during the Covid-19 period.

Her overall wealth has also been boosted by the financial assets of her husband, John Wakefield, who co-owns a private real estate equity company. The couple also owns multiple properties in Florida, adding to their combined wealth.

According to Forbes, Pam Bondi had a net worth of about $1.5 million in 2019. A large part of this came from her home in Tampa, Florida. By 2025, the value of the house had gone up to around $2 million to $2.5 million.

During her first term as the state’s top legal officer, she also received more than $51,000 worth of gifts over four years. These included hotel stays, trips, and meals while attending events and meeting other lawyers and politicians.

Bondi was removed from her position by Trump, with reports suggesting the decision may have been linked to concerns over her handling of high-profile matters, including issues related to Jeffrey Epstein, according to The Mirror. However, the exact reason for her dismissal has not been officially confirmed.

Despite the dismissal, Trump did not criticise her. Instead, he praised her work and contributions. He described Bondi as a “great American patriot” and a loyal ally who served effectively during her time as Attorney General.

Trump also credited her with overseeing efforts to crack down on crime, highlighting her role in law enforcement initiatives during her tenure.
