LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Paris Hilton was lauded online after she started an emergency fund for victims of the Los Angeles fires

She also reportedly donated $100,000 from her pocket to the fund for those in need, reported People.

This came after the businesswoman and socialite lost her Malibu house in the fires. She posted on Instagram on Friday, January 10, “While I’ve lost my Malibu home, my thoughts are with the countless families who have lost so much more—their homes, cherished keepsakes, the communities they loved, and their sense of stability.”

Paris Hilton urges others to donate to emergency fund

Paris Hilton further shared on social media, “As a mom, I can’t imagine the pain and fear of not having a safe place for your babies so I’m launching an emergency fund through my nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact to support displaced families with young children.”

She mentioned that she’s made a donation of $100,000 and will be “matching additional dollars raised up to $100,000 more. I am looking for others to donate and match alongside me to do our part!”

While concluding her post, the mother-of-two added, “Let’s come together for LA. Every dollar makes a difference, and we’ll make sure the support reaches those who need it most. Visit the link in my bio to help.”

Social media users praised Paris Hilton for coming to the aid of families affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.
