Patrick and Brittany Mahomes reveal they are expecting third baby in adorable family video
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are expecting their third baby.
The couple made the announcement over social media on Friday, July 12, and captioned their Instagram post, "Round three, here we come." In their Instagram reel, the pair can be seen with their daughter Sterling Skye, three, and son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III, 17 months, posing in all-white outfits, holding sonograms.
Talking on Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, Patrick praised Brittany as a mother. "I think people don't even realize how much she does. Taking care of the day-to-day stuff and making it so where I can focus on football, focus on my craft and everything like that," he said.
He continued, "Just being a hall of fame mom and a hall of fame wife. It makes things a lot easier ... when you get to come home and your best friend is there. You can just hang out. It makes you want to be there all the time and so, she pushes me to be great. She's done a lot of great things herself."
Brittany, also 28, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the compliment by sharing a post to her Instagram Stories. The post featured a graphic of Mahomes' kind words alongside a photo of the couple together. Accompanying the post was a teary-eyed emoji and a white heart.
The couple, who first met in high school in Texas in 2012, tied the knot in a lavish Hawaiian wedding in 2022. Their family expanded with the arrival of daughter Sterling Skye, three, in 2021, reports People.
Notably, Sterling Skye made a memorable entrance at their Maui wedding by riding down the aisle in a tiny blue toy car. They are also parents to son Patrick 'Bronze' Lavon III, who is 17 months old.
