Patrick and Brittany Mahomes welcome third child as fans rave over baby’s name
KANSAS CITY, KANAS: Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes have added another girl to their home team.
On Sunday, January, 12, the Kansas City Current co-owner, 29, and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, also 29, welcomed their third baby, a daughter named Golden Raye Mahomes.

The couple announced the exciting news on Instagram, sharing a black-and-white photo.
In the photograph, Brittany and Patrick hold their baby daughter's feet above a wooden sign displaying her name. "•Golden Raye Mahomes• 1/12/25🎀✨," they wrote in the couple's joint post read.
Golden will join sister Sterling Skye, 3, and brother, Patrick 'Bronze' Lavon Mahomes III, 2.
In July, Brittany announced via a joint Instagram Reel that she and her husband Patrick were expecting their third child.
"Round three, here we come 🤍," they captioned the Reel.
Brittany Mahomes felt too much pressure from Patrick Mahomes
On January 6, Patrick Mahomes told CBS reporter Tracy Wolfson that his wife was going to give birth on Sunday, January 13, bye week.
"If she doesn't give birth by then she will be induced Monday. There was def extra motivation for Patrick to get that bye week!" Wolfson observed.

He also spoke bout the wait for baby number three after the Christmas Day game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
"Brittany says I have been stressing her out too much this season so I got to try and not put so much stress on her through these football games and get the bye," he said as per Marca.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes began dating as teenagers when he was a sophomore and she was a junior at Whitehouse High School in Texas.
Following his Super Bowl ring ceremony in September 2020, Patrick proposed to Brittany. Later that same month, the couple announced they were expecting their first child. Their daughter Sterling Skye was born in February 2021.
On March 12, 2022, Patrick and Brittany finally said "I do" after 10 years of dating during a private ceremony held in Maui, Hawaii. Their second baby, son Bronze, was born in November 2022.
