KANSAS CITY, KANSAS: Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, recently welcomed their third child, daughter Golden Raye Mahomes, over the weekend.

The couple shared the joyous news on Instagram with a touching photo of their hands resting above Golden Raye's tiny feet.

Brittany Mahomes can't stand husband Patrick's noisy chip bags

Already parents to Sterling, 3, and Bronze, 2, the Mahomes family continues to grow while navigating life in the spotlight.

Despite their NFL royalty status, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes deal with relatable quirks in their relationship.

In an interview with People, Patrick revealed a habit that irritates his wife, Brittany, during bedtime. It’s not the chips themselves but the sound of the bag that bothers her.

"I think that she just doesn’t like the bag, and because, you know, the bag makes a crunchy noise when she’s sleeping,” Patrick told the outlet.

He also shared how he’s adapted his habits to be more considerate. “I’ve actually become really good at being able to eat my Doritos without making noise. It’s just about the placement of the hand when you’re going in the bag," he said.

"You’ve got to make sure that you really perfect that,” Patrick said.

Patrick Mahomes on quiet snacking skills for wife's peaceful sleep

Understanding the importance of letting Brittany Mahomes get her rest, Patrick Mahomes has worked on perfecting his chip-eating technique.

“Whenever you have kids and mom needs her sleep, you have to be great at not making noise in bed,” Patrick said.

The couple’s son, Bronze, has also developed a love for chips, with Patrick sharing that he often asks for snacks.

“Every time I open up a bag, he’s asking for chips, chips, chips, so I give him a couple of them,” Patrick said.

“I try to keep them down. I want him to still eat dinner, but he loves his Doritos," he added.

Baby Golden Raye Mahomes joins family amid playoff season

The arrival of Golden Raye Mahomes comes at a busy time for the Mahomes family, as Patrick Mahomes’ team, the Kansas City Chiefs, is currently in the NFL playoffs.

The team is preparing to face the Houston Texans in Kansas City this Saturday as per Daily Mail.

With the Super Bowl on February 9, every game is crucial for the Chiefs as they aim for another championship.
