Patrick Regan: Travis Kelce’s barber opens up on his friendship with Taylor Swift, says ‘we connected real well’
KANSAS, MISSOURI: Patrick Regan, the man behind Travis Kelce’s buzz cut, has opened up about his friendship with pop star Taylor Swift, whom he met through the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
Regan is the one who gave Kelce the 'Travis Cut', a fade style that became popular. Kelce even sported it at the 2024 Super Bowl.
How did Patrick Regan and Taylor Swift become friends?
Regan, who has been cutting Kelce’s hair for six years, told 'The Tease' podcast that Swift is a “super sweet person” who is “always interested in what you’re saying.”
He told Fox News in December 2023 that Swift “always compliments” Kelce’s hair after he gets it done.
One of which was captured on camera by the 'Karma singer with her signature filter and later shared on Instagram.
He said in the latest podcast that he had been traveling to Kansas City every week during the football season to maintain Kelce’s hair.

“Taylor is a super sweet person, always interested in what you’re saying," Regan said.
What does Patrick Regan and Taylor Swift have in common?
Regan said that he and Swift bonded over their shared roots in Pennsylvania. “She’s from the Philly area too, so we connected real well [over that],” he said.
He added that Swift is very down-to-earth and “just seems like a girl I went to high school with.”

Regan admitted that his work has been more in the spotlight since Kelce and Swift confirmed their relationship in September 2023.
He said that he was happy to see how much of Kelce’s personality was being revealed to the public, as he is “one of the best guys in the world.”
Regan also said that his work has been recognized more because Swift is “such an icon.”
He said that Kelce contacted him on Instagram six years ago when he was training in Florida, where Regan is based, People reported.

He said that he agreed to cut Kelce’s hair at 6 am, even though his shop opened at 10 am, and that Kelce was very grateful.
