Piers Morgan slams Prince Harry as 'despicable rat' for 'trashing his family' again in BBC interview

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry’s latest interview with the BBC has reignited tensions in the ongoing royal saga, drawing fiery criticism from outspoken broadcaster Piers Morgan.
Morgan accused the Duke of Sussex of once again “trashing his family” during a time of personal crisis for King Charles, who is battling cancer, reports The Sun.
He trashed his family as Prince Philip was dying.. he trashed his family as The Queen was dying… and now he’s trashing his family as both his father and sister-in-law have been battling cancer. Is there a more contemptible public figure in the world than Prince Harry? pic.twitter.com/HmXi4xsq8p

Piers Morgan blasts Prince Harry over BBC interview
Prince Harry lashed out at his family after losing his legal battle over the loss of his publicly funded security detail.
“He trashed his family as Prince Philip was dying.. he trashed his family as The Queen was dying… and now he’s trashing his family as both his father and sister-in-law have been battling cancer,” Piers Morgan posted. “Is there a more contemptible public figure in the world than Prince Harry?” He didn’t stop there, going on to label Harry a “selfish, entitled p***k” and a “despicable rat” for blaming King Charles for their estrangement.
Piers had earlier said following the ruling: "The King must strip Harry and Meghan of their titles asap. They are never going to stop attacking him, the Monarchy, and the royal family - all while simultaneously enriching themselves from their royal status. It’s despicable."

Former BBC royal editor Jennie Bond described Prince Harry’s recent interview as yet another shocking twist in the ongoing royal drama. Speaking to Sky News, she remarked, “He's bristling, bristling with anger, isn't he, Harry, and resentment. And mistrust of the royal household. And despair over his father's attitude, I suppose. It's just such a sad and sorry saga.”
Bond also suggested that Harry might be privy to details about King Charles’ health that the public doesn’t yet know. “The family, they do not trust him to keep private conversations private. And now he's gone so public with his raw emotions over this, I think that's going to reinforce that,” she added.
Prince Harry tells BBC he is open to 'reconciliation' with royal family
Prince Harry expressed a desire for reconciliation, saying, “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight anymore, life is precious.” He claimed that the issue of personal security remains the final barrier to healing relations with his father, stating that Charles “won’t speak to me because of this security stuff.”
The Duke suggested the King could help resolve the matter by stepping aside from the committee that oversees royal security decisions, though he also clarified that he had not directly asked for royal intervention, and instead planned to address the matter with UK Home Secretary Yvette Cooper.

“Look at the impact. If anything was to happen to me, my wife, my kids, my father's grandchildren, look where the responsibility lies,” Harry said, adding, “Do you not want to keep us safe?”
Harry acknowledged the pain and distance in his relationship with the royal family but emphasized that he had now “forgiven” them.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson responded tersely, “All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion.”
