YoungBoy Never Broke Again arrested in Utah on six charges
YoungBoy Never Broke Again was taken into custody in Utah on six counts, two of which are Class 2 felonies: possessing a dangerous weapon by a restricted individual and engaging in a "pattern of unlawful activity."
Lesser charges against YoungBoy include possession of other controlled drugs, identity theft, forgery, and obtaining or attempting to obtain drugs or prescription medications, per Variety.
The rapper, who is under house arrest pending trial for federal firearms charges, faces fresh legal issues as a result of this Utah arrest.
A Cache County Sheriff’s Office representative told the New York Post that many organizations, including the FBI and Homeland Security, carried out a search order on the rapper’s residence on Tuesday morning. This search warrant is a component of the ongoing criminal investigation.
As per the Sheriff's office, no bail has yet been established.
NBA YoungBoy has been under house arrest since 2020
The Louisiana-born rapper, who has had notable cameos on songs by Juice Wrld, Tyler, the Creator, and Migos, has been under severe house arrest following two arrests that occurred during the production of a 2020 music video.
In 2020, during a music video shoot in an abandoned spot, YoungBoy was accused of carrying two firearms, leading to the arrest of 16 individuals on drug and weapon-related offenses.
In 2022, YoungBoy was acquitted of the charge of "knowingly" carrying a firearm during a separate arrest associated with an unrelated Los Angeles incident. The LAPD pulled over the rapper, and following a short foot pursuit, they found a pistol under the driver's seat of his vehicle.
