According to People Magazine, the 2024 Country Music Television Awards witnessed a remarkable collaboration between Little Big Town and Sugarland as they graced the stage together for the first time since 2008, delivering a stunning rendition of Phil Collins' 'Take Me Home'.

Before the award show kicked off, the two powerhouse groups thrilled fans with the announcement of their upcoming Take Me Home Tour, slated to commence on October 4 in Greenville, South Carolina, and culminate on December 13 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

Sugarland posted on X, "Excited to be sharing the stage with our longtime friends @littlebigtown tonight on the #CMTawards, as well as announcing our new song and tour together!"

Comprising members Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook, Kimberly Schlapman, and Phillip Sweet, Little Big Town, along with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, boasts an impressive tally of 44 CMT nominations.

Their last joint appearance at the CMTs in 2008 featured a memorable performance alongside Jake Owen, belting out 'Life in a Northern Town'.

Little Big Town even hosted the CMTs in 2018 and 2019. The group has a record-breaking 25 nominations for group video of the year.

Their latest album, 'Mr Sun', dropped in 2022.

As for Sugarland, their last CMT appearance dates back to 2011. Their album 'Bigger' hit the shelves in 2018.
