The experience was emotionally challenging for Isabella, who broke down in tears over the IV, highlighting the distress caused by the unexpected medical procedures.
During her hospital stay, Isabella underwent multiple procedures, including the draining of fluid from three spots in her brain.
Despite remaining awake throughout the procedures, Isabella stayed strong, although experiencing significant pain. She underwent another craniotomy, her third in total, just one month after her previous surgery, which heightened both her physical discomfort and emotional strain.
Following her hospitalization, Isabella was discharged after a week but returned due to shortness of breath. Despite initially feeling better after the treatments, she received disappointing news – her next round of chemotherapy, originally scheduled to be her second to last, had been delayed by a month due to a head infection.
Expressing her frustration, Isabella lamented the setback, stating, "I was just bawling my eyes out because it’s just so disappointing when you’re like, 'Yes! I can finish by May!' And then everything changes because of a stupid head infection."
