Before his sudden death, Gerber had talked about his issues several times and even started a series on Instagram called ‘Mental Health Mondays’ to help others.
In 2023, he posted, “Happy Mental Health Mondays! I really hope you all join me on my journey through life and pursuit of happiness. Let’s learn from each other so we can help each other. However, Gerber eventually took a break from social media. In November 2025 shared, “It's been a minute since I've posted. I had to step back and take care of my own mental health for a bit. But I'm coming back soon—stronger, clearer, more intentional than ever.”
