LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry has found himself in a bit of ‘pain’ amid Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis.

An insider claimed that the Duke of Sussex is feeling a sense of regret for spilling too many details about his estranged family.

Expert reflects on changing royal family dynamics

The royal released a memoir, ‘Spare’, last year, sharing about the different personalities and instances from his life back home.

“When you do discover that your sister-in-law has cancer and you’ve written stuff that can’t be retracted, that’s quite a painful place to be in,” royal expert Tessa Dunlop told Us Weekly. “I’m not saying it isn’t.”

Dunlop also feels that the criticisms made earlier by Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, also bother the two, per NYP.

The Princess of Wales, 42, and King Charles III, 75, are battling cancer, presently.

“They deliberately criticize the monarchy [and then offer] themselves as an alternative to monarchy. So then when the monarchy is in trouble, we do kind of make a comparison. Can Harry and Meghan really hold themselves off as the caring example now?” she asked.

“They’re certainly going to have to be careful of their timing with any releases so that it doesn’t look opportunistic,” she added.

Prince Harry and Meghan likely to stay quiet on royals

Dunlop said she feels Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t comment on royals just out of instinct, but will examine their words carefully.

“When that comes creeping in the door, that just reframes everything,” she added.

Sources claimed at the time of the memoir release that Kate was taken aback by some of the things said about her and other royals.

Harry talked about the infamous dress-fitting set-to between the women of Windsor, which he claimed left Markle “sobbing on the floor.”

“Meg asked if Kate was aware of what was going on right now. With her father. Kate said she was well aware, but the dresses. And the wedding is in four days!” Harry wrote in ‘Spare'.
