Prince Louis' playful moment with Prince William steals the spotlight at VE Day celebrations

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Prince Louis, the youngest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, became the center of attraction on Monday, May 5, the first day of the 80th VE Day celebrations, as per People.
The celebrations will conclude on May 8, the 80th anniversary of VE Day, which commemorates the end of World War II in Europe. The royal family is expected to attend several events throughout the week.

Louis and his siblings, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, made a surprise appearance with their parents at the first event, where the family gathered at the Queen Victoria Memorial outside Buckingham Palace for a military procession down The Mall.
It was part of the Prince and Princess of Wales' plan to introduce their children to royal responsibilities in a gradual way.

Prince Louis' heartwarming interaction with Prince William wins hearts
While the military procession was underway, Prince Louis was seen playfully tugging on the aiguillette of Prince William’s RAF No 1 uniform, while the latter was engaged in a conversation with the next seated person. At one point, the seven-year-old was seen brushing off his father’s uniform.

The two did share a playful exchange at the event, as lip reader Nicola Hickling reportedly told The Sun.
At one point, Louis apparently asked his father, "Wasn't this supposed to be fun?" and the latter promptly replied, "It is, son."
William also described the route to Louis, saying, "You’ll never forget this. They will come along here, then head towards there, and we’ll make our way back. It's not going to be long, and I want you to be taking an interest."

This was the first public appearance of the year for George, Charlotte, and Louis, and they received a special holiday from school to participate in the event.
In addition to their parents, the young royals were joined by their grandfather King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince Edward, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, and Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent.
