According to a recent viral TikTok video posted by user @thebritishprince, William was captured zooming into Windsor Castle on an electric scooter on July 4.

This time, there were no royal carriages or chauffeurs for the Prince of Wales. Instead, he was seen swiftly navigating the estate on his electric scooter, picking up speed as he descended downhill.

His choice of attire, a blue sweater and white shirt may not be typical for scooter riding, but he seemed to enjoy the joyride without any qualms, as per TMZ.

The person behind the camera humorously captioned the video with, "POV: You need to use the bathroom but it's on the other side of your castle."

However, the scooter, which he reportedly splurged $6,000 on last year, isn't just for short distances within the castle.

It has actually proven to be quite handy for zipping between Adelaide Cottage, where he resides with his wife Kate Middleton and their children, and Windsor Castle to attend to royal duties promptly.

The prince's scooter has garnered attention before. Reports from last year mentioned William's purchase of an electric scooter to move around the Windsor Castle estate with greater ease, as per People.

According to a source, "It just makes sense. He whizzes up to the castle when he needs to see the King. It’s a two or three-mile round trip from his family home at Adelaide Cottage to Windsor Castle so it’s easier by scooter than car or walking."
