LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND: Prince William, 42, met and chatted with a group of year 5 students at St Nicholas Catholic Academy in the city center in January, during which he had a cute exchange with an adorable youngster.
Young Mohammed was one of those students, eager to meet a member of the royal family. He asked the prince immediately if he was "the king".

Prince William adorably responds to schoolboy who asked if he's 'the king'
The Prince of Wales had an adorable reaction to young Mohammed when he asked if he was "the king" during William's visit to St Nicholas Catholic Academy.
In the video that the school has since posted on social media, Mohammed was seen eager to strike up a conversation with Prince William, who was passing by with the instructor.
"Are you the king?" Mohammed asked William, cutting to the chase and getting right to the topic.
In his straightforward yet endearing response, William said, "No I'm not, I'm his son! What's your name?" which eventually earned him praise online.

"Nice to see you! You had a good day at school?" William asked, showing enthusiasm in getting to know the young schoolboy.
Following that, Mohammed clicked a selfie with the prince, getting William to say "cheese" for the photograph.
The adorable encounter is thought to have occurred during William's trip to Merseyside in January, where he also had the opportunity to meet a group of elementary school students at Tiber's Young People's Steering Group in Toxteth, per Daily Mail.

He also visited Cycle of Life, a non-profit cycling organization that helps young people from different backgrounds better their physical and mental health and increase their employment possibilities.
Cycle of Life is supported by BBC Children in Need.
Royal fans praise Prince William for being 'chill and at ease with the kids'

Royal admirers immediately gushed over the sweet exchange between Prince William and Mohammed.
One X user commented, "The first video is absolutely adorable!!! Our Prince of Wales is just the best and I’m sure the lucky little kids and everyone else will never forget meeting the future King."
A second user exclaimed, "Love William - just so chill and at ease with the kids!"
Another wrote, "Love how Prince William simply answered “No I'm not, I'm his son” when the little boy asked him if he is The King."
"So very sweet... Stay blessed ...very cute with the kids," another remarked.
One said, "Awww, William. Yes indeed, my boy, he is the King's son. That's it. I think that's a better persona, a lighter burden for him to take on than that of "future king". It is also a persona that will keep him humble, I think. Humble and respectful of his father and the Crown."
"He answers the question simply, then immediately puts the attention back on the boy. He's a very decent man," chimed in another.
