LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Princess Anne is reportedly experiencing temporary memory loss following an "incident" at her home. 

The British royal was hospitalized after the occurrence at her country home in England, which took place on June 24 at the Gatcombe Park estate. 

Anne suffered minor head injuries and a concussion after being hit by a horse, as per People.

Husband Sir Timothy Laurence says Princess Anne 'is recovering well'

Princess Anne, sister of King Charles, is currently experiencing memory loss following an incident on June 23. Due to the concussion she sustained, specific details of the accident remain unclear. 

Her injuries suggest she may have been struck by a horse's head or legs. Anne, known for her dedication to equestrian sports and her participation in the 1976 Olympics for Team Great Britain, received a visit from her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, on June 25 at the hospital, where she spent her second night. 

He provided a brief update to well-wishers, stating, "She is recovering well, thank you. We are both profoundly grateful to the medical team and hospital support staff for their expert care — and to the emergency services who were all so wonderful at the scene. We are both deeply touched by all the kind messages we have received from so many people near and far. It means a great deal."

He expressed appreciation for the outpouring of kind messages received from near and far. In a video shared on ITV by Chris Ship, Sir Tim, 69, mentioned, "She's fine. Slow but sure." 

Buckingham Palace issued a statement on June 24, confirming Princess Anne's injuries: "The Princess Royal has sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening. Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery."

The statement also noted, "The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery."

Internet wants Princess Anne to 'get well soon'

Following the health update of Princess Anne during the walk at her home, many internet users flocked to Facebook to share their opinions.

One said, "Sounds like a serious concussion. Prayers for a full recovery". Another prayed for Anne, "Praying for Princess Anne. Dear Heavenly Father, Hear my prayer for Princess Anne she had a concussion and I ask you to heal heal her I every way. Amen. 🙏"

The third user wished to see the full recovery of Anne, shared a GIF saying, "GET WELL SOON."

The fourth user praised Anne saying, "Prayers for her. She's been through so much with the loss of her parents. She seems like a wonderful person and a good sister."

The last commented, "I believe she is the “hardest working Royal” praying for her to fully recover perhaps it’s time to cut back a little. God has blessed you Princess Anne. Thankyou."
