LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Even though Priscilla Presley and Elvis were not together for many years before his death, she still upholds his legacy by being heavily involved with his estate. However, sources now claim that she has been finding solace in Elvis' old friend, Pat Boone.

According to sources, Boone has reportedly raced to Priscilla's aid when she gets overwhelmed by the multiple tragedies that have befallen her family recently.

The 78-year-old and Elvis first crossed paths in 1959, when she was only 14 and he was 24. The 'Burning Love' singer was serving in the US Army at the time and was stationed in West Germany.

Sources claim 'Pat is someone Priscilla can confide in'

Priscilla and Pat have known each other for decades, but per Radar Online, Priscilla has recently become closer to Boone. She appears to be finding solace in him, though, suggesting that the recent tragedies in the Presley family have brought the two closer.

"Pat is someone Priscilla can confide in," an insider claimed to the National Enquirer. "She trusts him and knows he's got no other agenda but to be a good friend."

"Pat gives Priscilla sound advice, and he speaks so calmly and assuredly," a source said. "He has a way of making it all better."

The source added: "He's helping Priscilla through the grief of losing Lisa Marie at age 54 and her grandson Benjamin Keough's gunshot suicide in 2020. But she helps Pat cope, too."

With the death of his wife of 65 years, Shirley in 2019, the insider stated that "Pat would be really lonely without Priscilla to talk to."

Priscilla Presley's recent family tragedies

In recent years, the Presley family has seen some widely reported deaths and controversies.

Most recently, Priscilla lost her only child with Elvis, Lisa Marie, to a heart attack spurred by a bowel blockage a year ago, and she was horrified to clash with her granddaughter Riley Keough in court.

Furthermore, Benjamin Keogh, Priscilla's grandson, battled depression for years before committing suicide in July 2020.

Moreover, the public's perception of Elvis has been questioned by the release of several major biopics, such as Sofia Coppola's 'Priscilla.'

The movie depicts the information that the 'King of Rock & Roll' began dating Priscilla when she was a teenager despite their 14-year age difference, which some have found inappropriate and unsettling, per The Things.

However, considering the two major deaths that have befallen the Presley family, the unfavorable reception to recent Elvis movies could not be the least of the family's worries.

Priscilla recently settled her lawsuit against daughter Lisa Marie

Being the sole child of Elvis, Lisa Marie left behind a substantial fortune along with a share in her father's inheritance.

This resulted in a dispute between Lisa Marie's oldest daughter, Riley, and mother, Priscilla, over the most recent draft of Lisa Marie's will.

After contesting Lisa Marie's will and being removed as a trustee of Elvis Presley's estate, Priscilla struck an agreement to receive a $1 million lump sum payment as well as $100,000 annually for the ensuing ten years.

Riley eventually came to a deal with her grandmother that gave her control over Elvis' inheritance, which the court approved in August 2023. Riley has two minor sisters who will eventually receive shares in Elvis' fortune when they are older.

Riley would provide Priscilla $1 million as well as an extra $400,000 to cover her legal expenses, according to the terms of the deal.

The actress additionally consented to her grandmother's burial at Lisa Marie and Elvis's cemetery at the Graceland estate.

Attorney Ronson Saumon for Priscilla stated, "The parties would like to report that they’ve reached a settlement. The families are happy. Everyone is happy, unified, together and excited for the future."
