HENDERSON, NEVADA: During a fundraiser in Nevada on Sunday, February 4, President Joe Biden took direct aim at his Republican rival, Donald Trump, expressing his frustration over the latter's alleged disparaging comments about fallen American soldiers.

In his remarks, the POTUS once again invoked the memory of his late son, Beau, who served in Iraq and died in 2015.

Biden began his speech by saying, "I have to hold my Irish temper. I'm glad I wasn't with him. I'm not sure what I would've done. He said they're all suckers and losers," as he alluded to Trump's apparent comments.

He continued, "My son was not a sucker nor were any of yours. Who does this guy think he is talking about Americans?"

Biden repeated these sentiments during a rally in Las Vegas, expressing his disdain for Trump's alleged remarks about soldiers being "suckers" and "losers."

"This is a guy when he was in France, they asked him to go to the American Cemetery. You know what he said? He said those folks were suckers and losers. Suckers and losers for God's sake. I'm glad I wasn't there. No, I should say that," noted the POTUS.

He reiterated, "He called your sons and daughters who gave their lives in this country suckers and losers. Who the hell does he think he is?"

The president's remarks became more forceful during a smaller gathering of wealthy donors in Henderson, Nevada, where he issued direct challenges to Trump.

Reports suggest that Biden has been increasingly outspoken about Trump, referring to him as a "sick f***" in private conversations, as per Politico.

He specifically highlighted an incident from 2018 when Trump allegedly refused to visit a cemetery near Paris for American soldiers from World War I, dismissing it as being filled with "suckers" and "losers." The 45th president has vehemently denied these accusations.

In addition to addressing the unsubstantiated comments, Biden criticized Trump's record on jobs, referring to him as "Donald Hoover Trump" in a Herbert Hoover reference.

The president also mentioned, "It sounds unbelievable, un-American, that a sitting — that a former president seeking the office is hoping for a recession."

As the November election nears, Biden's campaign sees Trump as their primary rival, setting the stage for a grudge match between the two. Polls suggest a statistical tie in a potential rematch, with many voters expressing a desire for alternative choices.

The POTUS' visit to Nevada apparently focused on courting Black voters.

Biden held meetings with critical leaders from the Black community and organized a get-out-the-vote rally in a historically Black neighborhood outside the Las Vegas strip. The outreach to black voters was a central theme during his three-day trip to the West Coast.

President Joe Biden faces backlash over his remarks about Donald Trump

After Biden's fiery comments about Trump came to light, netizens didn't hold back from slamming the POTUS.

One said, "Propaganda Alert," and another added, "Oh and please link the Quote. I’d like to see it."

"This is a lie do your research," remarked a person, while someone else claimed, "Joe Biden doesn’t know where he is most of the time. He keeps saying his son died overseas and either he out and out lies or has no clue he died here of cancer."

An individual mentioned, "James his son did not die while serving. Was a civilian who died of a brain tumor. No proof that his illness was caused by his nine month tour in Iraq."

"Both has bad as each other, Biden’s Irish temper he can’t remember what he had for breakfast yesterday ridiculous!" quipped one more.

Another person asked, "Is he still pretending he’s Irish?"
