Rafferty Law, 27, leaves fans in awe with uncanny resemblance to dad Jude Law in 1999 flick 'The Talented Mr Ripley'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rafferty 'Raff' Jellicoe Frost Law, a 27-year-old model, recently posted a picture of himself on Instagram and the resemblance to his father Jude Law is striking.

Jude Law, who is currently promoting his new film 'Firebrand' in which he plays Henry VIII, has altered his appearance for the role by growing a large bushy beard and using a prosthetic belly. 

In the image in question, the actor’s young son, known for his role in 'Masters of Air', seemed to look remarkably similar to his father during his breakout performance in the 1999 film 'The Talented Mr Ripley'.

Jude Law comments on his son Rafferty's acting talents

According to People, Jude Law still looks much the same as he did when he first gained fame in America with his role in 'The Talented Mr Ripley'. 

Jude noted that he was also 27 years old, as his son is now, when he starred in the Anthony Minghella film, and their physical resemblance at the same age is strikingly uncanny. 

Jude told PEOPLE, "I look back on that film now, it's strange to think it was 25 years ago, My eldest son Rafferty is 27, and I wasn't much older than he is. I think I was the same age, actually."

Rafferty, who has pursued a career as a model and actor like his father, recently starred in 'Masters of Air'. 

Jude emphasized his son's acting talents and said, "He's really good, I loved him in that show." 

Rafferty has mentioned that having famous parents has mostly been a blessing as he forges his own path in the entertainment industry. 

He shared his thoughts on his well-known parents, Jude Law and Sadie Frost, "I think there have been advantages and disadvantages to it," 

He added, "I've always focused on pursuing the things I love and proving to people that I'm hardworking." 

Meanwhile, Jude recalled his role in 'The Talented Mr Ripley' and how it has transformed his life in several ways, "I think there was an attention suddenly, to choices I was making, who was I working with, Suddenly people cared about what was going on in my private life too." 

He concluded, "All of that was quite a lot to have happen at once. I look back and I'm really proud. I think I handled it pretty well."

After seeing that Jude Law's son Rafferty resembles him closely during his role 'The Talented Mr Ripley,' many internet users have commented on the striking similarity between the father-son duo, as per Facebook.

One user wrote, "Wow practically identical hunkiness 😍❤️😍 !!!" Another user who pointed out a difference claimed, "He definitely does not have his cheek bones, but he’s cute. Jude law 😍" While the other added, "Jude's square chin is more distinctive."

Another user said, "I wouldn't go so far as spitting image but he does highly resemble his dad."

One user asserted, "So... im unknowledgeable about celebrities (I dont know who either of these people are) ... these two are male and have a similar mouth shape similar chest hair and are wearing the same color clothing... im surprised they are father and son to be honest🤷‍♂️"
