'Raised on Country' singer Chris Young arrested over brawl in Nashville bar

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer Chris Young has been arrested from a bar and is slapped with disorderly conduct, assaulting an officer, and resisting arrest charges.

The incident took place on Monday, January 22, at the TinRoof bar, located on Demonbreun Street in Midtown Nashville.



 

Multiple charges against country singer

He allegedly confronted alcohol enforcement agents and assaulted an officer, per police.

According to the affidavit, “Around 8:30 pm, the agents from the Alcoholic Beverage Commission were completing a compliance check at Tin Roof when they encountered the singer sitting at the bar.”

After checking the identification, he believed to have followed the agents and asked questions before making a video on his camera.

Young and his group proceeded to the next bar, Dawg House, where they began the ID verification process and encountered a confrontation.

“While walking out the door Mr Young put his hands out to stop me from leaving the bar and struck me on the shoulder,” the affidavit said.

“I then pushed Mr Young to create distance since I had no idea of who Mr Young was or what he had.”

Young didn't comply with officers 

He refused to comply with officers' instructions and was handcuffed, however, he was released after the legal proceedings, reports DailyMail.

The atmosphere in the bar turned hostile, and it took two officers to physically detain Young, as per the report. Young's eyes were bloodshot and watery and spoke with a slurred speech.
