Ramon Crisanto and Steys Yanira: new evidence emerges in disappearance of 4 Honduran family members

HOUSTON, TEXAS: A family from Honduras may have been traveling to Mexico, according to a copy of their bus ticket, which vanished after they boarded a Greyhound bus from New Orleans to Houston.
According to family members, to pursue their American Dream, Steysi Yanira David-Funez, 27, Ramon Ruiz Crisanto, 31, Jazzlyn Esther Ruiz-David, 4, and Dara Ismeray Ruiz-David, 1, are moving from New Orleans to Houston.
Honduran family never reached their destination
Late last year, the family was supposed to arrive at a Greyhound station on Houston's East End. After reaching the station on Harrisburg Boulevard, Steysi texted her father, "Daddy, I'm here," according to relatives, but they were never able to reach their intended destination.
KHOU 11 News was able to obtain a copy of a Greyhound bus ticket that identified the passengers as Steysi, Ramon, and Jazzly.
According to this ticket, the family would travel to McAllen, arriving at 5:40 a.m. on December 1, 2023, and leaving the Houston Greyhound station at 11:35 p.m. on November 30, 2023.

The ticket indicates that the family will depart from McAllen and arrive at a Greyhound bus station in Monterrey, Mexico on December 1, 2023, at 12:30 p.m.
Honduran family is believed to cross border to Mexico
Family members don't believe the family crossed the border because they had lived in Mexico before moving to the US for work.
Dilcia Miranda expressed concern for her family and her missing granddaughter. Miranda said that once the family got to Houston, they were going to grab some food.
Meeting Ramon's uncle was supposed to happen, but they never did. Since relocating to the US last year, Steysi's sister in Honduras reported that her sister is a very family-oriented person and that they communicate daily. According to Miranda, Ramon was a barber.
Miranda claimed that they got in touch with Metro PCS, Steysi's mobile provider. A spokesperson for the company, no phones were used before December 1. Then, on December 15, the phones were turned off.
The family claims that the Houston Honduran Consulate is taking part in the inquiry. Additionally, we've contacted Greyhound and are awaiting a response.
Sixth District detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the missing family to contact them at 504-658-6060.
