Rapper Krayzie Bone opens up on hospitalization due to rare illness, says he 'woke up 10 days later'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rapper Krayzie Bone opened up about his life-altering health scare that left him hospitalized for ten days and revealed his condition.
"I woke up 10 days later," the rapper said of his hospitalization which began after he coughed up blood, according to People.

Krayzie Bone recalls the day of sudden hospitalization
Speaking to Spin, Bone, whose real name is Anthony Henderson, said that he was admited to the facility after he developed a persistent cough that led him to the emergency room.
"I was up late playing Xbox one night and I coughed and something came up that didn’t feel like the usual phlegm," said the 'The Bone Thugs-N-Harmony' star. “When I spit it out, it was nothing but blood," he added.

“They gave me little bags that I was coughing the blood up in. By the time they came to take me to a room, I had used three of those bags," Bone told Spin.
He recalled that the doctors informed him that they "had to put me under to see what was going on." Bone then messaged his bandmates to inform them that he would not be able to make it to their Las Vegas show.
He shared that he was not expecting the lengthy stay at the hospital as he "woke up 10 days later."
“When I woke up, they told me everything that happened. I had no idea I’d been there for 10 days,” the rapper said.

Krayzie Bone revealed the lung function on his left side was 'completely dead'
After his family members and groupmates from 'Bone Thugs-N-Harmony; arrived at the hospital, Bone wondered, "Damn, why is everybody so uptight? What the hell is going on?"
"The doctors in the ICU, I don’t know if it’s what they see every day, but their outlook was grim," Bone told Spin.
"They were like, ‘He might not make it out of here. The lung function on the left side is completely dead. He will need a lung transplant,'" he recalled.
However, doctors proceeded to go against the procedure and put him on preventive medication as the rapper hit the gym consistently and was a regular performer with his band, believing that his lungs were strong enough on their own.
The 50-year-old rapper revealed to Spin that he has been diagnosed with mycetoma, a "fungal ball" that blocks the sinuses and may be related to his rare inflammatory illness called sarcoidosis.
