NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Country music band Rascal Flatts is set to perform at President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday, January 20, making it their first appearance since reuniting.

The band has made its way into the list of performers at Trump's inaugural ceremony among Carrie Underwood, Christopher Macchio, Lee Greenwood, according to People.

Rascal Flatts to perform at Donald Trump's inauguration

A news release from the Trump Vance Inaugural Committee stated that the country trio - that disbanded in 2021- is set to perform at Donald Trump's Ball alongside rising country star Parker McCollum after the President-elect is sworn in on Monday, January 20.

Moreover, the band's frontman, Gary LeVox, wrote on Instagram alongside a series of patriotic photos of himself, "I am so humbled and honored and grateful for the opportunity again to play the inauguration of the 46th President of the United States."

He added, "I got to play it in 2016 and now Rascal Flatts will be performing at the commanders ball and I am so looking forward to it! Thank you to Governor Christie, Gnome, and Mrs. Virginia- It will be a night to remember!"

Even though 'Rascal Flatts' disbanded in October 2021, the band announced in 2024 that they had reunited and would kick off their 25th anniversary tour in February, per the outlet.

Celebrities to perform at Donald Trump's inauguration

Apart from 'Rascal Flatts', there are many well-known artists who will be performing at Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony, unlike in 2017, which reportedly struggled to book high-profile performers. 

Steve Witkoff and Kelly Loeffler in a statement provided to NPR, "The Trump Vance Inaugural Committee is proud to announce that some of our nation's most iconic [musicians] will be participating in the inaugural celebrations."

They added, "This monumental weekend will commemorate President Trump's historic victory and the 60th Presidential Inauguration with a celebration of music, unity, and patriotism, ushering in America's new Golden Age."

Country star Carrie Underwood is set to perform "America the Beautiful" during the swearing-in ceremony. Similarly, classical tenor Christopher Macchio will perform the national anthem during the swearing-in ceremony.

Moreover, 'I.O.U' singer Lee Greenwood will perform at the swearing-in ceremony and the 'Make America Great Again Victory' rally. Trump's vocal supporter, Kid Rock, will also take the stage at the same rally.

Furthermore, disco band Village People, led by surviving original member Victor Willis, will perform at two events - the Make America Great Again Victory Rally and the Liberty Ball, per the outlet.

Some other famous names to perform at Trump's inauguration are Billy Ray Cyrus, Liberty University's Praise Choir, Jason Aldean, Parker McCollum, and Gavin DeGraw.

Internet roasts 'Rascal Flatts' as they are set to perform for Trump's Inauguration

Netizens grilled Rascal Flatts as the band is set to perform at President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday, January 20, making it their first appearance since reuniting.

A user wrote on X, "Another one bites the dust," while one added, "They haven’t been relevant in years."



 



 

A person also stated, "Guess I won’t be listening to them anymore!!", whereas one mentioned, "Well, damn shame that I will never listen to their music again. Especially since one of their songs is my wedding song. Not like anyone listens to them anymore anyway. They went away because they were becoming has beens. Now they truly are."
