Reason why Justin Bieber could get share of wife Hailey’s $1B beauty brand fortune if they separate

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Justin Bieber could reportedly end up getting half of his wife Hailey’s billion-dollar beauty brand fortune if the pair ever gets divorced.
This could happen because they never signed any prenup before tying the knot, reported by Page Six.
The Canadian singer and the model have been married since 2018 and also share son Jack Blues. However, speculations regarding trouble in their paradise, which they have faced since the beginning of their union, have never completely stopped.

The businesswoman even called out haters and said, as per Vogue, “Well, I thought seven years in it would’ve already, and it hasn’t. You would think after having a child, people would maybe move on, chill out a little bit, but no. So I guess these bitches are going to be mad."
Justin and Hailey Bieber's creation ‘during marriage is community property’

Hailey launched Rhode in 2022, but recently she sold it to e.l.f. Beauty in a billion-dollar deal.
Now, a top Hollywood divorce lawyer told the publication, “It’s highly unusual for people of their stature to not have an agreement that governs their assets. But sometimes people don’t want to do it.”
“Because they live in California, the state would have jurisdiction, and the law states that anything created during marriage is community property. If there is no prenup [or] postnuptial … agreement, this sounds like community property to me,” the lawyer noted.

Hailey Bieber won’t take a billion dollars home
Last week’s deal between Hailey, who will now be working as Rhode’s chief creative officer and head of innovation, and e.l.f. Beauty does not mean that the 28-year-old gets a billion dollars altogether.
It has been said that the cosmetics company is giving the mother-of-one $800 million in cash and stock at the close of the deal, which is expected to happen before September.

She will get another $200 million, depending on how Rhode performs over the next three years.
Hailey Bieber won’t get any money from Justin’s older songs

Richard Kestenbaum, partner and co-founder of Triangle Capital LLC, shared, “There are two things happening here. The people who invested on different terms are entitled to be paid out first — they’re entitled to make a profit before anyone makes a profit.”
“That’s called a preference. It reduces proceeds for everyone else and that includes Hailey,” Kestenbaum added.
Meanwhile, Page Six also clarified that if Hailey and her pop icon husband were to go their separate ways, she would not get any of his ‘Baby’ money.
“If Justin’s music catalog originated prior to his marriage, that is separate property. Regardless of when you sell the catalog, it’s still separate,” the lawyer added.
