In a hilarious social media video, the country star's attempts to show off her bowling prowess ended in laughable results.

Reba McEntire's bowling attempt takes an unexpected turn

Reba McEntire, 69, shared the lighthearted moment on Instagram on Tuesday, March 11.

Dressed in casual athletic wear, she looked ready for action.

"POV: You told your man you were good at bowling," she wrote across the clip, as her boyfriend, Rex Linn, watched from the background.

She picked up a bowling ball with confidence, appearing focused as if she were about to roll a perfect strike.

However, things took a turn when she unexpectedly dropped the ball onto a dinosaur-shaped kids' bowling ramp. Despite the assistance, the ball still ended up in the gutter, Parade noted. 

"I always come prepared to strike! 😉" McEntire sarcastically captioned the post, though she failed to hit a single pin.

Adding humor to the clip, she set the video to her own song, 'I Can't,' and looked into the camera, saying, "May be next time."
