LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rebel Wilson is opening up about her unsavory experiences of filming her 2016 film ‘The Brother Grimsby’ while throwing shades at her co-star Sacha Baron Cohen.

In her memoir ‘Rebel Rising’ which was released in the US on Tuesday, April 2, Wilson claimed “it felt like Sacha Baron Cohen had sexually harassed me” on the set of their 2016 film.

However, sexual harassment is not the only accusation that ‘The Pitch Perfect’ actress is bringing against Cohen as she further claimed that filming with ‘The Dictator’ actor left her with an eating disorder.

Rebel Wilson opens up about feeling completely 'disrespected’ on Grimsby sets

The ‘Bridesmaids’ star opened up about her experiences with Sacha Baron Cohen as she shared that her aim was not to cancel the ‘Borat’ actor but rather to recount an experience that made her feel completely "disrespected.”

Wilson wrote in her book the alleged ordeal with the comedian “led to me treating myself with even more disrespect by eating in an extremely unhealthy way," per Daily Mail.

Earlier, in an excerpt of the book published by PEOPLE, it was seen that the Australian actress was accusing Baron Cohen of asking her to do lewd acts.

Wilson wrote in her book that she met the actor in 2013 at a dinner party hosted by British comedian Matt Lucas. She shared that the ‘Ali G’ actor called her a year after to offer her a role in his upcoming film ‘The Brother Grimsby’ which was co-written, produced, and acted by Cohen.

Wilson claimed as they were filming in Cape Town, South Africa, she felt whenever she talked with the actor, Baron Cohen would “mention that he wanted me to go naked in a future scene," which she said was in “no way essential” to the film’s plot.

She also accused the actor of giving “gross directions” in some scenes which she branded as being derogatory to either curvy women or females in general.

She added that she felt the 52-year-old “wanted me to look and feel awful," adding, that he wanted her to change into shorter and revealing clothes “where you could see as much cellulite as possible."

Sacha Baron Cohen's representative refutes allegations

In her book, the 44-year-old actress wrote, “It felt like every time I’d speak to SBC, he’d mention that he wanted me to go naked in a future scene. I was like, ‘Ha, I don’t do nudity, Sacha.’”

She then went on to recall a particular incident while filming at a soccer stadium in Cape Town, “SBC summons me via a production assistant saying that I’m needed to film an additional scene. ‘Okay, well, we’re gonna film this extra scene,’ SBC says.”

She continues, “Then he pulls his pants down ... SBC says very matter-of-factly: ‘Okay, now I want you to stick your finger up my ass.’ And I’m like, ‘What?? ... No!!’ ...”

“I was now scared. I wanted to get out of there, so I finally compromised: I slapped him on the ass and improvised a few lines as the character,” shares Wilson.

Following the controversy, Baron Cohen vehemently denied the allegations and shared a statement refuting the claims.

His representative shared, per PEOPLE, “While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby.”
