Who is Renee Rapp's girlfriend?

Renee Rapp is in relationship with Towa Bird, a singer-songwriter. The two have been on the same label. Bird even played guitar and was a co-writer on Rapp’s ‘Tummy Hurts.’

She didn’t clarify on what role she would like to play, but many believe the artist will be so natural playing Sally Bowles. It has been played by stars, including Liza Minnelli and Emma Stone.

Rapp recently appeared in the musical film adaptation of 'Mean Girls' in which she reprised the role of Regina George from the Broadway production.

In her earlier interview with Broadway World, she talked about writing music for Broadway. "I've always said I want to be an EGOT so badly. That includes the T, which is Tony, so I would love to go back to Broadway. I would love to just keep doing more things where people accept me," she said.

Is Renee Rapp an ageist?

Renee Rapp also talked about being labeled ‘ageist’ with InStyle. “The ageist allegations are literally—literally!—maybe my favorite thing I've ever done in my career. But also, in a non-joking way, they are derived from people belittling me,” she said.

She explained, “Older people being like, ‘Well stay in your place.’ ‘Aren’t you cute!’ You don't get to disrespect me just because we are different in age."

Rapp, who played Leighton in ‘The Sex Lives of College Girls', talked about her self-doubts while filming the series. “I basically lived every day on set in fear that I was going to lose my job, because I just didn't think I was good,” she said.

Rapp added, “Actors and musicians, we are so self-obsessed and addicted to hating ourselves. Actors are batshit.”

Earlier, she spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about her role in the series. “I think it forced a lot of people in my life and my family to have to accept me in a weird way, and in some ways that are twisted, like, 'Damn, we could have done that a long time ago without her being on a TV show,'” she said.
