LOS ANGELES,CALIFORNIA: In an unexpected turn of events,'The View' witnessed an unusual display of bipartisan support as self-proclaimed Republican co-host Ana Navarro led the audience in a spirited chant of "four more years" following President Biden's State of the Union address.

While Republicans in Congress criticized Biden's perceived anger during the speech, Navarro, an ardent Biden supporter, commended his demeanor, asserting that it showcased his command and suitability for office.

Republican turned advocate

Despite her Republican affiliation, Navarro has consistently voiced liberal opinions on various issues and has become a steadfast advocate for the Biden administration.

Defying expectations, she praised Biden's performance, dispelling notions of his alleged cognitive decline. "As you all know, I have been saying for months and months and months that Joe Biden is old. Yes, he’s slower of step, yes, but he is far from being incoherent, from having dementia, from not being in charge. Yesterday, he showed he is engaged. He was impassioned. He was pissed off. Scranton Joe showed up and fought. He had his gloves on from moment one," she applauded, emphasizing the president's vigor and determination.

Navarro highlighted Biden's remarks on the border as a standout moment from the address, expressing admiration for his strong stance. Additionally, she applauded his rebuke of former President Trump, lauding his assertiveness and leadership qualities. "All I can tell you is that by the time this thing ended, I was in my hotel room like all of those Democrats were there going, ‘Four more years! Four more years! Four more years!’" she said while clapping and leading the audience in a chant.

'The View' cohosts join the applause

The other co-hosts on 'The View' echoed Navarro's sentiments, offering praise for Biden's performance. Sara Haines found Biden's message inspiring and unifying, emphasizing his positive tone throughout the address. "The thing I loved about him was his tone," she praised. Sunny Hostin appreciated Biden's focus on the January 6 Capitol riot, expressing her intention to address it daily if she were running for president.

"I also noticed he said ‘future’ twenty times. This is a forward-looking president. He may be 81, but he's looking toward the future," she praised. Behar criticized congressional Republicans for their perceived lack of enthusiasm, sarcastically questioning their stance on issues such as "securing the border" and "raising taxes on billionaires." "Are they pro-brain damage for children?" she sarcastically asked.

Liberal-leaning journalists and media personalities also lauded President Biden's State of the Union speech, dismissing concerns over his age. Former CNN journalist John Harwood mocked critics who doubted Biden's vitality, asserting that those questioning his ability to lead appeared "pretty dumb" in the wake of his powerful address.

The unexpected chorus of praise from both 'The View' hosts and liberal commentators underscored the impact of Biden's speech, transcending traditional political divides and reshaping perceptions of his leadership.
