RFK Jr says Trump has the most unhinged eating habits: 'I don't know how he's alive'
WASHINGTON, DC: Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr raised eyebrows after candidly describing President Donald Trump’s eating habits, saying the president routinely consumes junk food, candy and Diet Coke, yet continues to display what he called remarkable physical resilience.
Kennedy made the remarks during a recent podcast interview, where he offered an unusually blunt account of Trump’s diet while also stressing that medical evaluations show the president remains in strong health despite nearing 80.

Robert F Kennedy Jr describes Donald Trump’s junk food habits
Kennedy said Trump’s daily routine includes fast food and sugary snacks, particularly while traveling. “The interesting thing about the president is that he eats really bad food, which is McDonald's. And then candy and Diet Coke,” Kennedy said.
“He drinks Diet Coke at all times,” he added, describing a constant presence of the soda during trips. Kennedy said traveling with Trump offers a revealing look at his eating patterns. “If you travel with him, you get this idea that he's just pumping himself full of poison all day long,” he said.
Despite the description, Kennedy expressed astonishment rather than alarm. “He has the constitution of a deity,” he said. “I don't know how he's alive, but he is.”
Trump prefers corporate food while traveling, Kennedy says
Kennedy explained that Trump has defended his fast-food preferences, particularly when he is on the road. According to the health secretary, Trump believes eating from major chains reduces the risk of foodborne illness.
“[Trump] says that the only time that he eats junk food is when he's on the road, and he wants to eat food from big corporations because he trusts it,” Kennedy said. “He doesn't want to get sick when he's on the road.”
Kennedy added that the president’s energy levels often defy expectations. “You don't know how he's walking around, much less being the most energetic person any of us have ever met,” he said.
Health secretary says Trump remains physically strong
While his comments painted an unflattering picture of Trump’s diet, Kennedy emphasized that medical evidence does not suggest serious health concerns. “I think he actually does eat pretty good food usually,” he said, adding that Trump has “incredible health.”
Kennedy cited a medical review conducted by Dr Mehmet Oz, who reportedly examined Trump’s health records. “Dr Oz looked at his medical records and said he's got the highest testosterone level that he's ever seen for an individual over 70 years old,” Kennedy said. “I know the president will be happy that I repeat that.”
White House medical reports address age concerns
Last month, the White House released details of a medical evaluation that included MRI scans, amid growing public scrutiny of Trump’s health as he approaches his 80th birthday in June.
In a memo, Trump’s physician, Dr Sean Barbabella, said the president’s cardiovascular system was in excellent condition, abdominal imaging was normal, and “all major organs appear very healthy and well-perfused.”
The White House also addressed visible bruising on Trump’s right hand that had sparked speculation online. Officials said the marks were linked to aspirin use as part of a standard heart-health regimen, dismissing concerns of a more serious condition.
